Gladiator 2

Theme: Gladiator with the helmet

Curiosity:
I live in Pula, Croatia. As you may know, pula has one of the most preserved roman amphitheaters, the 4th in size. It's a beautiful and important building. And what's an amphitheater without a gladiator? There's a group of men that impersonates those famous ancient warriors. They use phoney arms, but they fight for real. I've seen a lot of shed blood. Cute, actually

Under this helmet is a member of Biohazard band. They went to see our gladiators while on tour in Pula, 2014. Of course, they had to try it! I was lucky enough to shoot it.

I plan to shoot more pics of our gladiators this spring/summer!

Statement: Most of these photos are technically not very good. Some are dark, some over-exposed, some a bit blurry or the composition's off. They're also mostly not touched-up at all. You'll have to do that your self if you see fit, and you will.
